T2 Change - Plants and Seeds

We are learning to understand that:
Scientists follow a specific process and ask questions that lead to investigations.
Plants need many things to move through the life cycle.
We will be able to:
Show the life cycle of a plant.
Label the parts of a plant.
Classify objects using a Venn diagram
We will know we can do this when we can:
Draw pictures that depict the life cycle of plants.
Correctly label the parts of a plant

Sort and classify leaves into categories of our own making and independently represent these in a Venn diagram.

T2 Art Attack

We are learning to:
·                make a tapa cloth.
Criteria:
·                choose a design to complete
·                follow the procedure to make it using paper, crayon, vivid markers and Indian ink.

We looked at a lot of pictures of Tapa Cloth patterns and decided to base our design on flowers.

How we did it.
First we had to roll the paper up so it would get smoother. We had to use the brown crayon to do some of the drawing, then once we finished that we did the vivid over our drawing. Then  we did the Indian Ink on the bits we didn't do the crayon on.
